River Dee, Below the Sluice Gates, Bala, Gwynedd, LL This stretch can be fished by fly only, for trout and grayling during the salmon season mid March to mid October. Between mid October and
mid March worm fishing is allowed. No maggots are allowed on any club river (except the outflow) by EA Bala. During the summer the grayling offer superb sport on dry fly and during certain hatches the river seems to be boiling with fish which is a wonderful sight for any angler.
