DEE Grayling.

The Dee offers first class grayling fishing.

 In fact, when the World Championships were held on the Dee, top anglers from all over the world declared that the Dee grayling were unrivaled for quality and abundance. Grayling run to over 4 lbs. in some sections of the River.

Winter time on the Dee is a beautiful time to be out on the river, this is mainly due to the exceptional fishing which is to be had. It is a good time to catch a specimen chub and large dace are also on the cards, but the Dee is famed for it's grayling fishing. In the past ten years or so the grayling has taken over the river, especially in the turbulent upper reaches  Bangor and above,
 The tributaries notably
Worthenbury brook are also good grayling fisheries. I like to fish for the grayling with light fly tackle
