In the Overton-on-Dee area yield the greatest number
Of spring fish.
But it is the middle and upper river around Llangollen and
Corwen that produce the number Of summer grilles and autumn fish.
There is a respectable run of small sea trout into the river Dee during
July and august.
The natural brown trout of the river Dee do not grow to a great size,
most rod caught Fish weighing around 1/2-3/4lb but occasional
fish are taken up to 4lb.
